Mitchell Okeke also known by many as "Big Mitch" is a self made Hustler/CEO. He set up his indie record label in 2007 and since then discovered acts like "Alexi Duce", and "Raz D'Chef". The Band D'Grind was then formed, series of college shows later and a few years later the trio became a force to be reckoned with in the Ireland Urban music scene. Since releasing the video to their debut single "Just Pull" the band have since gone through a phase of character building/ drive to win, and with each member itching to do their solo projects, the trio is said to be going their separate ways after years of making music together.

"Big Mitch" remains resilient that the split will in no way stop him from doing what he does best, which is dishing out hip-hop verses and finding new talents to add on to his Grind Ent music stable. Moving to Nigeria in 2011, Big Mitch has learned that the industry he knows and familiarized with is in no way same as what is going on in the Nigerian music scene. But knowing him as a person who never gives up, we can be rest assured he will study and yet blend into the music industry in Africa.

In his words he said "moving to Nigeria, I have been exposed to various talents and am willing to continue bringing out the best music and also work with local talents". When asked about his songs recorded with old band members he said "all previous recorded tracks will still be promoted and some remixed to appeal to the Nigerian audience". So watch out for this name Big Mitch, who is coming into the Nigerian Music Industry simply as a Boss, a Hustler and a CEO.
