Nigerian born Kingsley Okpi, is a multitalented artist, producer and studio engineer. Many may not have heard about him and may wrongfully assume that he is a novice in the music business. However he has previously worked with a host of other Nigerian artists and producers such as Gino, Dagrin, SosSick and LayLow to name a few.

Though he has been busy behind the scenes working with artists in his own studio; 'DaSort', situated in Lagos, he has decided that the time has come for him to claim his space on the other side of the mic and share his own artistic side. On the 20th of May 2010, he performed at the Ascology Soccer Fiesta headlined by 9ice, Terry G, Mode9, Durella and many others. That was his first experience of a big live audience and the response he got after the show made him even more determined to explore a career as a recording artist.

To date, KingPin has recorded at least 50 full songs as well as remixes of popular hits which have gone down well with his fans on the social networking site Facebook. His debut single 'Hollering' has featured on mixed tapes and is now available on iTunes along with bonus tracks which include a tribute to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
