With a name that literally means destiny, Orezi grew up on a steady diet of music from icons like the late Micheal Jackson, R Kelly, Joe, Usher, Donell Jones and on the Nigerian scene Tuface Idibia, D’banj, Kng Sunny Ade just to mention a few. Orezi's music is a perfect blend of the old and new school. His music is rich in melody and retains the true meaning of the genre 'Rhythm & Blues'. He is sure destined to be great like the icons that he has embedded in him. He started his career writing songs for people, and finally recording a song in 2005 titled Fever. The song generated rave reviews from music pundits all across Nigeria and also beyond. Later towards the end of 2008, Culbeed Music approached him to get him signed on their label.
