Made up of brothers, Tumi and Atewo, they developed an interest in music shortly after they graduated from Secondary School and even after separating to study in different Universities, Tumi, Geography /Planning and Atewo, Law, their dream of making music, did not die.

Tumi and Atewo got back together in 1999 prepared to start music proper and decided on the name 'Skuki'.

Skuki's debut single 'Fire' stayed on the Africa Edition of the Channel O Top 10 Chart for four months and was number one for four consecutive weeks. Their previous singles titled 'Stamina' featuring Mo’ Cheddah and 'Banger' featuring DJ Zeez have brought them awards and prominence; most notably, winning the coveted Next Rated Artist at the Hip Hop Awards.

Skuki has also worked with several artists including J. Martins and ID Cabasa.

The brothers are expected to release their debut album any time soon.
